in reply to: Juan’s 59 Lowlight #37987
If Juan isn’t on FB I’m happy to get them on the way to KCW for him, just let me know.
Edit – they’re sold.
in reply to: Juan’s 59 Lowlight #37983I don’t know if this is the same plastic material or rubber, but thought I’d share from a Facebook seller:
in reply to: Juan’s 59 Lowlight #37970I’m jealous, Juan. I love these cars, and this one looks soooooo good.
I saw on the Samba that Luis is resuming production & delivery of the bulkhead & floor mats soon.
in reply to: 1957 Euro Palm Green/Sand Green, Logos, Semaphores #37931Nice work Pat. Making it look easy!
in reply to: Toms rhd Oval Vert #37920Nice pulley Franz!
in reply to: Juan’s 59 Lowlight #37896Perfection!
in reply to: Cole’s Corner #37888Hell yeah, thanks Cole. I may grab the family and take you up on that!
Safe travels with the Monterey trip!
in reply to: Cole’s Corner #37883Nice work, Cole. I enjoyed watching the sunroof fixes on IG (and drag race lol). The “Smith” bus got a new cover too, correct? It’s nice to see these buses getting used and taken out often for others to have the opportunity to take in.
in reply to: Juan’s 59 Lowlight #37632Yes, I have everything from him, the full floor mat set and the insulating under mats. I think I was the 8th to commit so I got mine early on in his production process.
If you have not heard from him recently you may want to check in with him and see how close he is to making yours. He’s had some setbacks that he detailed on the Samba thread….he plans on filling all of the orders, but at a slower pace. If mine were a match to your Ghia (mine are dark green) I’d gladly give them up for your build and take yours whenever they were ready, but that’s not an option.
in reply to: Juan’s 59 Lowlight #37630Uuppssss,.. I did not think this task was sooo difficult, I hope the rear c-trim will be friendly,…. the KG every day is going better and better. Pete, why did you reinstall the c-trim in you KG? Have a Great WeekEnd,..
My original windshield was scratched beyond repair, so I replaced it with a new one. It was a battle worth fighting….it’s tough to beat new glass.
Did Luis/Low Light Werks ever get your interior floor mats done?
in reply to: Juan’s 59 Lowlight #37598Nice work, fellas. That C-trim is no joke. My fingertips after tackling mine:
Just sent you $$$ So you sold one so far
Make that two. 🙂
