here’s a wild story…….

 

I met this dude a few years ago when I sold him a late bay shell. Nice guy

 

a few weeks ago I ran into him at a band thing I was involved with in mancos Colorado. It was cool to reconnect and he told me he moved to Mancos from north of Cortez.

tonight  I’m in Mancos seeing a band at the brewery and I catch a glimpse of a small hatch split cruise by. I run out to the road and see it turning away.  Nice turkis bus.
I almost feel like Ive seen that bus befor?? But it is a faint memory…..

as I’m leaving (of course) I see the bus again and am able to chase it down.

Chris is driving the bus and tells me his friend in Washington sold him the bus. I realize immediately that jeff Helmer did the work on it and text him.
he reminds me that it’s a bus I was “given” several years ago and passed it on to him and he fixed it and sent it down the line
