What’s up with yer Bug Zack??!!!!!?!?!? Is it driving well, shake down any problems???? 😀
Keeping those wheels clean? 😀
I just detailed mine.
I need to give my wheels a good scrubbing 🙄 🙄
So far my bug is kicking ass! No problems as of yet!
Not much else to report, my car has been great!
Here’s a couple good pics I got over the last few weeks:
Found this old picture from when Jesse found this car in Gwood less than a year ago. $500 car 😎
Damm zack u got cahones bro. Spotted a patina bug headed over the pass just as the weather got real bad he passed me in a traffic jam at 10mph. It was lookin clean like who ever built this rig made it to be driven daily. I lost him in the traffic but as I drop off my niece in rifle I see him again just cruise like he knows what he is doing. Just sit back and chill and enjoy the drive. Zack has got this he is going to be a Vw driver for LIFE. GOOD JOB John and Gretchen. Raised him right?
Thanks? He’s a great young man! He said his car was perfect! Up over the snowy pass, 5 degree weather, nice and warm inside wearing a short sleeve KCW shirt???????????????????
I love going on adventures in our bus!!!

Thanks Gretchen, I’ll take a look through 🙏🏻
I’ve been driving Zacks 66 – Ruby we call her – as my around towner for awhile now!!! This car is a little work horse!! One of those old reliable bugs and engines that just keep chugging along 🤙🏼
I spent all day yesterday at the shop giving her some much needed maintenance and love 😁
changed the oil, changed the tranny fluid, found a loose nut/drum on the right rear and tightened that back up, JJ tightened up the clutch, cleaned up the Fuchs and put a new center cap on one that I lost, aired up all the tires … tightened up the windshield wipers, JJ helped me with a stripped screw and turn signal housing, reattached the arm rest on the drivers door… cleaned the air filter, and JJ tuned the carburetor up a little… lots of little stuff that I keep adding to my list finally got done yesterday! 😁🤙🏼😎
it was cool working beside a “brand new” 66 too! Tom’s and Zack’s bugs are almost the same car 😁
thanks for your help and shop/lift space JJ!!! 🥰
next on my list… super glue the horn ring and new tires at some point!
I believe there was at least one good horn ring in one of the boxes of stuff I brought down a while back. Might take some hard searching to find it though. Been a couple of years.
Oh there’s a few good horn rings.. she could just swap it.. she will after the super glue fails…🤫🤫🤫🤫
This car has been awesome!!! Zack drove it all through college. Back and forth over the mountains many times!!! Ruby has been a true road warrior!!!
Now Audrey drives ruby!!! I love how my kids can share a car!!! I love that my kids roll around in a lowered bug with Fuchs😎😎😎😎😎😎✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅😏😏
