Here is Ruby’s Engine Specs – it’s a 1641 with a counter weighted crank shaft, Engle 100 cam,  solid shaft rockers, high rev valve springs, compression is about 8.5 🤙🏻😎

we worked on it yesterday morning and this morning!!! We did our two break-ins on the stand and all sounded GREAT!! We changed the clutch cable -it seemed sloppy and sure enough there was a fray in there 👍🏻  Tomorrow morning we’ll get it off the stand and plug her in 😎😎 it’s so clean and sounds so good!!!

Sweet!!!! Sounds like one more work session to plug in the motor and tidy up stuff then it’s DRIVING TIME!!!!  Kinda nice to not be all snowed in this Winter!!!!!😃😃😃😃😃😃😃 Yet!!!!

Swapped out the throwout bearing, topped off the tranny fluid, put some gasket sealer on a few tiny exhaust leaks, new fuel line, ready to plug and play!!!!!!

Gave this girl a looking over yesterday.  First installed a fresh exhaust with fresh gaskets!!!  Ran the valves and found all the outside rockers had worn in with the  new shafts and needed an extra shim to minimize the side play.  Ran valves, changed the oil, topped off trans put center caps back on.. tightened a few things, washed the Fuchs and windows..  ready for a carb adjust and timing check
