The black poly looks nice. Sure can tell it looks smooth. Isn’t there a layer of black somewhere in the base layers on OG paint buses?GlennmossModeratorJanuary 23, 2018 at 10:22 amPost count: 225RustabusParticipantJanuary 24, 2018 at 6:05 pmPost count: 1998

Keep your head in those books for ONE more semester!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 This kid is getting a business degree in 4 years… impressive. Then you can build your bus and act like your a hippy for a few years before you have to get that mortgage, min van, and those three complications….. 😉 😉 😉WillyModeratorJanuary 31, 2018 at 11:04 amPost count: 1210
Yeah… one more semester… its another busy one too, but I don’t think it’ll hurt me too much if I ditch a few days to get away for some more work on this thing or some camping ???
Only a few years before complications and a mortgage??? Yeah right… ? I want NONE of thatPat KKeymasterFebruary 8, 2018 at 5:12 pmPost count: 1513

I’m getting my ass kicked so far this semester! I thought this year was supposed to be the easy one where you get to party and relax a lot. Not the case for me.
But yeah, still not an excuse to not be out there getting some work done. I’ll pick a weekend and plan.ColeBModeratorFebruary 12, 2018 at 3:42 pmPost count: 1838
Im glad Im not the only one getting their ass kicked by school!WillyModeratorFebruary 14, 2018 at 1:10 pmPost count: 1210
Ha yeah, I feel like I’m drowning in business case studies .
Think this weekend would be too crowded in the dirty shop if I showed up too?John JonesKeymasterFebruary 14, 2018 at 9:20 pmPost count: 7082WillyModeratorMarch 5, 2018 at 11:19 amPost count: 1210
This thing has been on my mind a lot lately. I’m really itching to finish getting it in primer. I want to just crank through it and get it in paint but am already committed to doing it right. It’s likely that I’ll be getting it assembled well into the summer, but I’ve heard senior semester is very front loaded, so my weekends should hopefully be opening up a bit more moving forward.
That doesn’t mean that job applications are slowing down though! Still have no idea where I’m going to end up or where. I’ve been in contact with a company that does the autonomous technology for Volkswagen though, I think it would be cool to have a hand in the next self-driving bus!John JonesKeymasterMarch 7, 2018 at 12:43 pmPost count: 7082
I can’t wait till you finish it either….. 😎John JonesKeymasterMarch 26, 2018 at 7:35 amPost count: 7082
After you graduate, are you gonna come hang out for a few months and get your bus done?? 😎FranzKeymasterMarch 26, 2018 at 8:12 amPost count: 3796
Bus restos are easy.
Just a little paint, some new rubber and a good round of cleaning.WillyModeratorMarch 27, 2018 at 10:38 amPost count: 1210
Yeah that’s the plan! Slapping this thing together should take more than a few days, right?? ????PeetParticipantApril 4, 2018 at 10:37 amPost count: 146
Hey Will.. If this has turned into an “Overwhelming and unachievable” project for you Im willing to give you fair money for the basket case that it has become. Think about itWillyModeratorApril 10, 2018 at 11:33 amPost count: 1210
Thanks Peet but I think I’m already emotionally invested in its completion! I need to have something to show for all the pain and suffering I’ve caused you all! Plus I can’t be without a real bus…
I might be able to help set you up with something though if you’re looking to build a camper… ?John JonesKeymasterApril 12, 2018 at 7:21 amPost count: 7082
when do you start getting in my way…. ? 😎
