You probably dodged a bullet Rusty, the guy who got it plans on fully restoring it.

 

The plan is to bring it out to San Diego again and put it on BaT. I just need to find out if doing Fuchs is still the move.

Just to update the thread, these are the last photos I took.

Actually decided against using the NLA floor because I didn’t want to ship a big ass piece of laminate from Europe and it just looks a little dark to me. I actually went with a hospital floor material from Mexico. Cheap and really durable.

Last I saw it, minimal progress… and a nearly dead battery 😒

FYI- I purchased NLAVW flooring and its shit to say the least. It has a felt backing that doesn’t stick well to industrial flooring glue, and it gets scuff marks very easily. Example is you fart while sitting on the vinyl and it has a new scuff mark. I have taken my bus camping twice in the last month since I installed the flooring and it looks like it has been in the bus for years. I will put it this way- My old ’67 Sundial that had its original linoleum that’s 50+ years old looked better than the NLAVW floor after one month.
