    He’s “retired”

I do feel honored though, apparently I’m the last full build he’s doing

Old guy. The custom stuff for each bus is a lot of work for him now, so I think his plan is to just make Z-beds after he finishes mine.

I was in Boulder, but am in San Diego now too.

I’m really trying to be patient with getting this back, but I’M GETTING ANTSY.

I am betting all your cars are gonna be around here longer than originally anticipated about 6 months ago… 😎   and now we have an ambulance too… 😎  😎    Just pointing out a fact… 😎

I hope when the pandemic is over… You can do some camping in your rig!!!  😎

Hopefully not actually. Single cab, yellow bay window, and the burn bus are all slated for pick-up in the next few weeks!

And yeah, getting excited about a Southern Colorado ghost town trip.

Found this from the maiden voyage. Thought it was pretty cool.

Well I’m supposed to have this back in a little over a month, but now I’m just waiting on Bus Depot to send the laminate I ordered 3 weeks ago 🙁

Looking forward to some summer camping trips… eventually. I MISS MY DAMN BUS

Check out these massive sheets of laminate from Wolfsburg West. They’re pretty tricky to transport and want to crack if you even look at them wrong, but they’re pretty! Identical to the OG stuff too.

One piece 5×5 plywood? 1/4 inch?

Let me know where you guys found it. All I could find locally was 4×8 and now I have a seam.

This was one of the only pieces of paneling that was intact when I got the bus. This guy repaired and refinished it and it looks great! Parts from NLAVW in Europe show up Wednesday.
