Good morning. Hope you had a merry Christmas Tom.
Getting ready to order some parts today. Feel like we’ve discussed most of the details. Although I’m not recalling any stereo talk.
Do you want a stereo in this ride?
Retro sound make some nice OG looking ones. Or we could do a hidden install and you can just Bluetooth from your phone?

We will build it if it comes.
Good morning Pat & JJ! Great Christmas here, hope you guys had a nice one as well!
The paint IS killer, can’t stop looking over the pics!!!
No radio for this one, just going to go with a block off plate….going to enjoy the sound of my A-1 exhaust….lol!
Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore!
I cleaned the all cable tubes really well with a wire/cloth and brake clean, so that they will function smooth as butter. Also, gathered up some missing hardware for clean up tomorrow.
The process is in full motion… The machine is cranking away on this one right now… Seats, hardware and such….. for clean and predictable assembly.. 😎
You can tell we didn’t DA this one.. she’s nice and straight… 😎 I should post a picture.. doors are on… and ohhhhh…… 😎

Gathered up seats this morning. Stripped then down for blasting. Few spring repairs along the way.
Dug seat side cover out of the KCW stash.
Your driver side seat back is incorrect. No lever or lug for the 66-67 side latch. Dug one out of my stash.
WE NEED TO FIND a PASS side mech (latch, lever, & spring) . Can any one out there HELP???
Ohhh yeeeah!!!
We will build it if it comes.
Tore down a few other bits. Pedal assy, wiper mech, and the steering column.
You were missing all of your inspection covers. KCW stash provides again.
Made it out to the booth and blasted everything. Paint tomorrow.
We will build it if it comes.
Stupid shit like inspection covers are gonna be $$$$$ when you have to re-fab them for future builds!!!!
Sand blasted and coated a bunch of original Kamax hardware. It’s going to be an epic assembly day tomorrow, I’m 100% prepared. Solid axle boots, FAG bearings.
Our drag racing buddies, John Redding and Eric Madson have taught us to chamfer, round, and polish all of hard edges on the spade end of the axle. Thid is where they always break. Empi racing axles ready to go.
The Bentley device book says to round the corners and edges of the fulcrum plates to prevent chipping. The plates with lines across the face are new over-sized. I will try to fit them first and measure clearance with a feeler gauge.
Eddie Radillo/Painter’s Grinding modified super diff with large oil holes and grooves for the side gears.
Looking really trick…..all the nice cleaned up hardware, and attention to all those details that really make a HUGE difference!!! Shell looks great with the doors on!!!
Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore!
