Shasta dates this coming year are Feb 9-13, 2022.

 

I can’t imagine we’ll be starting at the usual spot due fires this year.  As always, folks are welcome to camp at my house before the start if it makes sense, and after too.  But, I do envision it starting more north🙂.  Was hoping to have my new motor by then, but I think I’m dreaming…

Nice to have a little wiggle room inbetween BBB and SST this year.

getting excited! I need a new exhaust… I’ll order that tonight.

ive decided Shasta is my “new year”. My year really can’t get started until I get Shasta out of the way. Can’t wait.

Here are some pics if you forgot how fun Shasta is. Or if you’ve never been. It’s one of the best times you can have in a split bus. I promise. Hopefully we can get some new comers this year!! Don’t be scared. It’ll be an adventure. But you will come out alive. Probably! Just as probable as you making it home from work! The drive is just more fun than your daily commute😁

I really do miss when Piercy would pull out a big ol’ map the night of the rampage spot and stick it to the side of someone’s bus with the route tentatively mapped out.  It was nice to be able to break off a little but still know where you were going.

The map was pulled out briefly last year… but I think you might have had your hands dirty doing something else Sarah… 😉😉

Robert told me he’s coming to Shasta again this year too!

I think it could be cool to have printed maps to hand out for everyone when we meet and start… like have Savannah draw something that has the Kettenpom store marked, etc… I don’t know maybe that’s far too organized for these guys 😅

I need to pull me motor next week! Time for a new set of heater boxes and exhaust! Genuine A1 coming up. No more headaches from my exhaust leaked heater boxes either! Exciting!
