😅😬 poor Sarah had soooo much dust in her bus… she opened the doors and just looked at me and said “Audrey, my bed is in there…” 😄😄

SHASTA!!!! WOW!!! We had tooooo much fun – as usual/expected/desired. 😎🤙🏼 Everyone on that trip is fucking awesome… it’s the people who really make it rad. Rallying buses through beautiful terrain with no one else in sight never gets old either. 😍

it was for sure the Shasta dust trip, the Shasta broken shock trip from some, the Shasta head trip for others? 😂

the first day was a shit show trying to keep everyone in one group- typical. Then we were just trying to keep the buses moving- also typical 😜 the main thing is that you know you’ll get though anything cause there’s people around you to help you get through it  – but you still better at least know as much as me or preferably more about how to work on your bus – pretty please 😄

the Shasta shakes are so real getting ready to go… then the whole trip you have to be ready for the Shasta starts… one of the “leaders” starts their bus or really starts walking towards it you better be running to your bus or be left behind.. it’s pretty exciting in my opinion 😄 I’m sure others hate it…

this trip isn’t about comfort!!! It’s about persevering overcoming and adapting. FULL SENDING! And driving the hell out of your very capable VW Bus. Epic epic trip that I’d hate to miss now that I’ve gone 🤙🏼

28 buses started, 23 finished… 6 new buses, the only new bus to finish was a couple young guys from Deaf Volks – who had to pull thier engine in the mud and dark with team amigos 👏🏻👏🏻

That is a perfect recap! I have decided that in order for me to go with the flow, I need to smoke more. Haha.  I guess my “mom” gene comes out when I don’t know where we’re going.

I have to fix my floor.  It was so bad this year.  Both dust and water.

It’s funny the first year I did Shasta, I was kind of scolded into making sure I had enough stuff in case I broke down.  I feel like it’s changed a bit in that regard.  Anyhoooo, I had fun! And it was awesome to camp with you all again.  Hopefully we can find some mountains to camp in this summer!
