Thanks Pat!   I seem to be getting worse and worse at taking pics….

I’m thinking about jumping on the rear 1/4  😎  I notice this is about as short as you could go and still have the tank inside… 😎  The tank floor supports barely fit now!  😎

I think there will be plenty of room for you inside with a super basic seat all the way up against the back wall…  board foam tweed.. 😎 😎 😎

Velvet Green didn’t go on commercial Type 2’s until 1964 according to The Samba.

Not that this is a 100 point restoration.  It’s more like showcasing KCW’s ability to pretty up a drug infused poor decision. 😂

I am open to any color to be honest. I originally wanted it white like the smuggler was but now I am considering all options…..even postal yellow crossed my mind. Wish bus selecta was still around

I think L31 is the only proper color for the ol shorty… 😎

I scabbed up a lower driver b pillar inner and outter outta right side stuff… 😎  Didn’t feel like waiting  to order one… 😎  Everything on the cab is looking pretty good now… I have solid A pillars and B pillars to weld to, although I can still move em a little…  I am going to move to the rear 1/4 next.  I am going to dial in the rear as I have the front before I shove it together.. 😎   Keep the awesomeness for the end… 😎

Yeah I didn’t realize how screwed up it was until you pulled it out of the blast booth. My heart sank. Nothing you can’t handle of course. Just a matter of me selling off some dead end projects and working gobs of overtime to pay for it.
