Glad your enjoying your updates… 😎
I’m going to work more on the cab today…. I see more dissecting that needs done.. and a little jig work to get things right where I want them.
The rear is mounted down solid and nice!!! I have the torsion housing all bolted and mocked up, nice gap to weld and fill on the end casting welds, penetration will be had without question. 😎 I like using the table to do this modification. I feel like shit is lined up better and less likely to move around while doing that big ol weld. 😎
Front needs picked up one more time.. but it’s real close.
Fun fact,,, very most forward bumper bolts, front and rear, are the same location, all years split bus… 😎 😎
All work and no play makes JJ a dull boy🤣
Keeping a lid on it😎
Attitude is everything 🤔Post that treasure chest door pic… 😎

Attitude is everything 🤔If this is going back to stock configuration, the whole thread would be a troll of epic proportions.
not to mention a huge waste of puns! 🙂

Where is this project really going? Give us the ‘short’ of it! 🙂
I'm at the age where "fuck off", "fuck you", and "fuck it" answer most questions.
It’s staying a short truck.
My plan is to use it for delivering Christmas trees and other trees I am growing . I have several hundred trees I have started growing over the last 2-3 years. Once I get a greenhouse built I plan to use this to sell fruits and vegetables at local farmers markets as well.
This will be the most bad ass lowered mini farm truck. 😂
Must be some really short trees.

JJ needed s couple of adaptor bungs to bolt the cab to the frame table jig. Spun then up on the lathe.
Slides into the the beam plate on the first step, into the jig beam on the second, through rod will hold it together.
We will build it if it comes.
Getting some love!
A little update from JJ this morning! His plans and ideas for the shorty now that it is on the frame jig nice and straight. 😎
