The last welding and grinding was done today on the Shorty!! Looking great!! 😎Time for it go take a break in the blast booth until we have some more indoor room for painted projects…

I saw a picture of Kevin’s old single cab that was built by John and the crew before his employment there. Someone photo shopped it to a shorty.
I am digging the ribbed bumpers and skylight. I already have the skylight metal sitting in the big bitch……..🤔🤔🤔🤔

The roof is the only nice original panel on this shorty truck. And you want to cut and weld some silly holes in it??  Lets do a 3rd on in the middle/back too 🙂

We have to get this thing into bodywork soon…And prep everything for assembly. Hardware, tires, painting cab parts, removables, window frames, bumpers, ect, ect….So that it’ll be ready for you to slam together when you come to get it March 1st.

The next time we have some nice weather the sandblaster probably should get busy.

No cardboard headliner. I was assuming something like the smuggler. No cardboard headliner supports just material for more headroom.

yup… I put Audrey back to work.  She is going to widdle away at the blasting on the shorty during the warm parts of the day…   I imagine she will have the shell done today… Get it back in the dirty…. I am gonna work it completely before I even blast the other stuff..  That way it is clean and fresh for body work… When I start spreading mud… I will probably get Pat on the seat fabrocation..
