Fun Size👌🏻
That was a pain in the butt! Hard to get to in every way. GOT IT DONE!
Welded the lower bulk head section to the pedestal base. Bent up a 90° flange to seal the top hat to the bulkhead. Then wrapped the opening on the backside with 1” strap.
Half inch flange all the way around for the panel to seal on.
Bent a flange for the bottom of the access panel
Drilled and tapped a few holes.
Looks great, fits awesome!
We will build it if it comes.
Damn nice work.
Question for you. Will that center piece between the wheel wells that has yet to go in cause a problem getting the tank out? Or do you need to modify the back of it? Just curious.
That piece will need cut down some… 😎
AWESOME work Pat.. Thanks for kicking ass…
Proud and Stubborn 👍🏻
Pats going to cut that shit down too…. 😎
Shit is coming together better than expected eh?!?!?!?!?!? 😎
Proud and Stubborn 👍🏻
Scott, this has to be one of the most ridiculous projects you have ever owned.
About as functional as a screen door on a submarine.
Somehow you seem to set trends. You import a fridolin, now every one has one.
You resurrect a RV bus conversion, now they are hotter than the sun.
You should get a Yugo and see if the rest of the world 🌎 drinks the kool-aid!!! 😆
Can’t wait til people start sectioning their busses after they see yours!
Keep up the good work Franz, JJ and crew!
no short cuts being taken on this one!
Too late! Already cut.
Here is the name…. the short cut.
Riley chopped and fit the driver side cargo floor this morning.
Drilling holes and prepping for welds now.
I’m working on the seat pedestal.
We will build it if it comes.
Coming along nice.
Everyone is going to start resurrecting short buses after seeing how bad ass this one is.The shorty I have looks just as bad lol.
Tim
That’s a great start. You can build it anyway you want without limits.
I used to own this short one but sold it to help finance the mini truck build. ‘60 Original Paint Mango under the black spray paint. It was in much better shape than the truck.
Riley finished fitting the other half of the cargo floor Friday and drilled holes this morning.
He has also fit/marked both bed floors and started drilling holes today.
We will build it if it comes.
