Empi is moving forward on good VW parts it seems?? A Decade ago it seemed like Empi was gonna drop off a cliff with low end aftermarket mechanic stuff and low end bolt on bits and stickers…. Seems like they might have hired an employee that cares and is accommodating to our nerd group???

Probably should throw in new ball joints, torsion arm seals, tie rods, and steering damper while it’s apart…Don’t forget spring plate bushings too. 😁👍

All that stuff was changed last time they were up in the front end.  Of course about 1/2 the boots are torn..  but nothing is worn out.  And it has new spring plate bushings already too👍🏻

I found a nice original front end out back and I’m already done with the front, and back is 1/2 apart!!!  👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

it’s very easy to just say, order new stuff, and let’s just change everything.. and that’s fine too.:  but it doesn’t guarantee it will drive or perform any different..  but one thing for sure, the bill can get out of hand quick!  And you got a bunch of aftermarket stuff 🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

Awesome, I don’t know if we said anything about the inside but I was wondering if you could also look at the seats. The passenger seat I believe is missing one of the mechanisms that allows you to move it forward, and the back seat I can’t for the life of me figure out why it won’t attached to the car, I may not be very big but usually I can muscle something’s into place but not that back seat. I’m the only one small enough to fit in there to try (my not knowledgeable about car mind wonders if it’s not the right back for the car) I worry about driving with my boys in the car and having something happen where it goes flying (which yes sounds rather extreme.) Dan I think had a couple other wonders but I can’t remember.
