Got the Mini T all unwrapped and it fired right up after sitting all winter. On the trailer and ready to go. I have to meet someone at 8:00 but will head down right after. See ya soon.

Finished masking, painted, and unmasked wheels on Saturday.

No pictures of the Mini T in the KCW  emergency (dirty) room because it was in, stitched up, and out again before a camera could be pointed at it ! Where else are you going to find help like this for your VW ?   Thanks again John !

Pulled the front suspension out of Dusty super on Monday. All new suspension bushings and tie rod ends. New lowered front struts as well. 

Front all back together with disc brakes now. 

Riley and I adjusted the rear suspension this morning. 

Fresh black fender bead up next. 

We will build it if it comes.

Friday they got everything out and got most everything cleaned up, cleaned out and Riley started putting extra retro sound we had down on the metal behind the seat!!   I bet Pat spends most of next week on your headliner and sunroof… those are always a bit of a headache.. but doable… 😎  Pats done a few now!!! Even one for himself!  😎   The hard part is finding someone who has messed with the sunroofs…  Gonna be nice to have a fresh headliner!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the update. Timing could not be better as the rest of the interior arrived.  The TMI seats look to be very nice.  New carpet and door panels as well. Still waiting on the 4.5 wheels to show up, but on a whim I bought those CB fake-a-brake which should look kinda cool. Fake it til ya make it!

What are fake-a-brakes? Plastic look alike drums that cover the disc set-up?
