Dude where you been? Haven’t seen you in a while. Hows Alex doing? Does he still have the Westy? We will be in Florida in Nov. see you at Buli.
Been good. Sold my bus and bug a few years ago. Bought 3 OG paint Bays and making them runners little by little. Hoping to have one at BugJam (not Bulli, lol). Yeah Alex still has his Westy. He’s put it for sale before but when he sees the buyer is serious, he backs out! I tell him all the time not to sell it. I regret selling mine.
Nice! Glad you guys are doing good. Glad he kept the Westy. It’s a nice one. See you in November.
Tim
Clara’s front cab panels ordered and will be shipped to KCW. She’s still work on the back panels for Barndoors. Told her to put me down for a set once there ready.
Road trips bugs are the best. I mow’d them down in the headlights.
Here’s the BD repo front floor mat. It’s torn in the center, but it will have to do. Hopefully I can source a better repo or maybe even a og one. I’ll get it boxed up and sent to KCW asap.
I finished the semaphore resto yesterday.
I drilled out the original pivot pins and had to make new ones. Step machined .116 to .098 and drilled the ends with .077 so that they could be flared like a rivet. Pain in the ass!!!
Original lenses too. After a lot of clean up they look nice. I had to order the brass bulb holders that go in the lenses, then we can install them.
HOLY SHIT WOW…. Franz… You continue to amaze me.. Where else do you get that kind of one stop shop service?? Hu?? Where?? Waiting…….. whistling…….. this place can do anything… Peet, Franz, and I guess my tired old beat up self…. we get it done.. 😉 😉 No excuses…. No questions.. no crying… Just solutions… For 16 fucking years…. and again.. we saw this project to the end.. when it could have easily gotten halted… we get shit done.. we are not here just to earn money… we want to do our work.. we want to complete our work, and we want to be proud of our work… and we want to continue to do our work… we are not here for the short term… we are “Long” business… We have secured our fortress of solitude… it would take a lot of force to stop this machine… 😉 😉 I’m getting real close to being able to use Ben’s signature….. 😀 😀 😀 Rent?? WTF is that? Owing money to someone… WTF is that? NOT being dependant on anyone else.. Not having to suck anyone’s long dong anymore.. no more.. 😉

Just wondering…Have the front cab panels showed up yet? Clara said she had them in stock.
Nothing has shown up just yet… Your front mat either.
