Juan….did you ever order a set of the mats for your Ghia from Low Light Werks?  If so check this out:

The guy making them is also going to produce the tar boards to fit under the mats and over the tunnel so the mats will lay properly.  He just recently added the fiber mats to his web site so if you haven’t yet you may want to order a set of those to go with your mats (assuming you did order them).

This is shaping up to be perfect timing for you…you’re restoring an early Ghia back to 100% stock and you’ll be one of the first to be able to do that with correct rubber floor mats instead of a carpet kit.

Pat was loving on your pan all day yesterday…. It’s getting better and better!!!!    Pan work is funny….  When I first get it painted… the top side seems to be the most important.  Cause your starring at it while your assembling.. But once you get a body on it, some carpet or mats and seats…. the bottom side is actually more important..  or maybe I should say the only thing you can see…… 😎  So Pat started on the bottom side…. well make it the nicest…. 😎
