The window is in, and looks great, I had to change the regulator and related parts to fit the different shape glass. The replacement glass was 58 type.

Juan do you have a picture of the backside of the door pull chromies? Do they screw on from the back of the door panel?  I will wait to install the driver door panel until you bring the chrome.

Yes Franz, I think they screw on from the back side, I agree to wait to install the driver door panel until we have them.

I had to look back and see the first date of this thread. Has it only been there since July of 2018?

Yup, and most of the project has been long time finished it seems.  Waiting on certain hard to get parts looks to be what stretched it out this long I think.

It’s been painted for about a year. Looks like the chassis was assembled last spring. I broke my ankle, took it easy for a while, then with JJ’s help we had the car assembled/driving mid summer.

We’ve been holding since then to get the rubber floor mats and finish the interior.

It’s complete and beautiful now. I am excited to put a few miles on it next week.👍

We put a few miles on the ghia yesterday. Great driving car! The gear noise is getting better..I think it takes a minute for all the new parts to mate to each other.
