Juan… Next step for me… Pull all the removables and start looking at the insides, trunk, jambs and dash…. Still have one hole to weld on dash also… and drill that hole in the fender… 😎       But…. I need to give the clean shop a breather…. so I think I will hold tight for a bit….   I would rather it sit in primer than in paint… 😎

I agree. You shouldn’t continue or paint until you feel you have the right space and opportunity in the clean room.

OK.. This is back up on my list!!!!    Juan provided us with a tranny and engine, ready to install…  But I need to get the front end torn down and  cleaned up and pained…  and get the pan painted….     Semi gloss black!  And then I assume Shiney Black parts for the pan right Juan? 😎

Next on the body… Pull all the removables, work back sides, jambs engine bay and trunk…  I think there is one hole to weld in the dash…..

Juan, you ever get those trim rings?

I think this should keep me busy today…. 😎  I also think your pan had a beetle beam on it… By the straight sway bar.  But I just happen to have a few 😎  My low light parts stash has been paying off lately!!! 😎

Part are prepped for abrasive cleaning!!!!  Chris is getting it loaded and will be done later… Parts almost ready to paint… 😎  We use 70 grit on parts… and it leaves a nice finish… Lightly sand, mostly to clean any residual silicone off… Hang, Paint! 😎

Juan…maybe Luis from LLW has told you something different, but last I heard the sound absorber under mat set is delayed while he tries to get a few more orders for them.  My floor mat kit shipped yesterday without them.  I would guess that the under mats will get to KCW well before they’re ready to install them, so hopefully no worries there, just don’t want you to be alarmed if they only receive the floor mat set.

Well them parts above are all blasted and ready for the next step….   I’m gonna remove all the lids and doors and move myself inside, weld that hole, make sure the dash is perfect, and prime it.. then move into the engine bay and trunk….  Jambs, backsides of removables… You know.. Get this rig ready for some TROUT BLUE!!!!    It’s gonna look awesome!!! 😎 😎
