ARE YOU READY!!!! #RIP#higherplane@voodooranger
We will build it if it comes.
One step closer.
Finished welding gussets this morning. Body back on pan. Should have the cage finished in the next couple of days.
Work and Focus gets it done!!!! Wish I could learn this! 😀
Looking so good…
is VooDoo Ranger going to be a sponsor?! Like race fuel for the soul lol
Great work! Thanks guys!!!!!!
I love going on adventures in our bus!!!
I like lathe and mill work. Any special cutter for turning those axles, Franz?
Has KCW ever thought about investing in a small CNC plasma table? No waiting on gussets….or beam side plates or any profile cut plate.
Cool build.
Loving this build, great job as always!

Nope, they’re not hardened or anything. Cut nicely at 780rpm.
JJ wanted to keep his dash clean so we put the dash crossbar on the backside.
Added two horizontal cross ties, and two verticals. Cage work done from a pillars forward!!!
Shocks just arrived.
Finished welding upper c-pillar joints yesterday. Fit & welded in remaining gussets in that area.
Gusseted the dash bar and pass a-pillar lower also.
Working on the gas tank mount this morning.
Spent most of my time today finishing the fuel cell mounts.
Used angle iron for the gussets/brackets and stainless for strapping.
Rules say batt has to be behind a fire wall. JJ chopped V1 out the other day. Used SS strap for this also.
Started on the fire wall template. Need to fill the gaps along the sides next.
