I got the inside sanded yesterday and decided I was sanded out!!!  went in the house and just cranked some music and smoked some stinky green stuff… 😎 😎    That sucked my balls… BUt since I decided NOT to blast…. I decided to do LOTS of sanding… 😎 😎 😎  It’s going fine.. and I am not out there blasting… which sucks too… 😎  Pretty much all this work… is freakin lots of work… 😎 😎 😎  it sucks and builds character..  😎 😎

This weekends plan… I see a couple things to weld…  like the gas pedal mount.. 😎 Easy to forget!! 😎  Hope I have one… 😎 Bottoms of doors.. opps…. 😎 😎  a couple pin holes here and there if I can remember where I saw them… 😎  Then I am going to make some mounts in the bed so I can mock up my rack idea… 😎 😎  I feel the need to do something “fun” like the rack… 😎  instead of more sanding… 😎  The roof sucks and needs some work too.. something fell on it..

I feel like I’m pretty up to date on this project but I’ve gotta say, spinning around it in person really sets in how far this project has come and after yesterdays sanding session this thing made another huge stride forward!!! 👍👍👍 Always Awesome!!!!

I spent a lot of yesterday on this… I don’t have a gas pedal mount… so I guess I need to put that on the Wolfsburg West list..

Doors are tit’s on a ritz!!!!! I can’t think of any pin holes or such.. Just that hole in the bed…. 😎  I wish I saved some of Scotts bed now… 😎  But this was Glenns truck back then, and I wasn’t thinking about Glenn’s truck… Yet.. 😎 😎 😎

Not feeling very motivated today… thats not going to help me finish it…  uhhhhh 😎 😎

I had a hole like that in my 58 sc bed, only bigger so you could Easily get to the starter 🙁

Surprised you don’t have some bed metal laying around, and a acc pedal bracket too.

Maybe make an access trap out of that hole for those ‘gynecological’ moments…. similar to Type 3

There was a corvair motor in it from what I was told, and they cut that hole for the carb. I say just throw a snorkel on it for Shasta river crossings😉

Ready to throw a rack up there and measure..  gonna make it the same as the pamper in hopes of getting it in and out of the dirty shop…😎😎😎😎😎
