I think the ride height is about the same as the old ones. Pretty crazy that the old one either just sheared the threads off or unscrewed itself somehow… either way it rides a lot better now!

NOS hoops showed up. Look great. Have a tag with 1976 on them. Just need to get the wood. Any suggestions? 3F86CDD8-39C5-41AE-BAAD-A8AFA0F3A279A532866D-4D32-4A14-83D5-3AD8466AD3EA

    Hey!

Sorry to pirate your ’59 DC thread…I have a couple questions re interior work and some bumper resto etc.

Heard about you guys from a mutual customer. Thought I’d jump on here and communicate with you…But didn’t see any other means than to comment on a thread…Since this is a DC thread..

I live in Ouray and want to get my interior redone/upgraded and also get bumpers chromed. Would like to talk to KCW about that.

    Again, Sorry about the hi-jack.

Here is the rack on the dc… it BARELY fits into the garage… but I’m too scared that one day I’ll come whipping into the garage and not be thinking and I’ll smash that rack off. So I decided to not put it on and wait a bit until it can be parked in another garage haha looks good though! 8DE74A20-3ADC-49C0-B73D-16EDE06F8A82Bumpers aren’t on yet. I’ll do that tonight or Friday. I need to get them back on because I’m going to rototill a garden with my grandma on Saturday. Going to use the dc to haul to tools around with her.

I helped Weston and Malia out tonight welding together some stands for their new “flower cab” idea. They’re going to use the dc and sell flowers out of the back of it at events for their borrowed garage business. Pretty cool! I love that this truck gets used! Made Weston help me hold metal while I welded and made him grind some welds haha 49941808-31BA-4CDF-92D6-79663C2CEAFD0AA23763-FB2D-45E0-A5B1-2BB0527B32B923B9CBB2-F938-41FB-B7F5-B24216351FCFE98E8240-203B-4FAD-A001-26C224C58793i also put the bumpers back together tonight and I’ll put them back on in the morning! I’m also using the dc to pick up my grandma and her rototiller so we can get my garden ready for spring planting! Aweosme, so fun!
