Some narrower rear tires came in and got mounted yesterday! No rub👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Retired 😎 😎
Yeah 215/55/r16 are just right. 1/8″ from the spring plate and 1/8″ from the fender lip.
So Dan, how are you feeling about the logitudinal chassis tubes and aftermarket seats? Thats next on the list to facilitate battery mounting I think.
The picture is John’s race car for reference of the chassis tube along insides of the heater channels.
I had a heck of a time fitting bushings to the aftermarket puma beam as the tubes were tapered. I had to turn the bushings on the lathe to get them just right. 4” narrowed beam now.
Now this is looking cool .Top work Franz

It’s finally coming together…. But plenty of fab left to do……..😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁. I think the wiring might be a bit complicated🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫
Looks better. That looks amazing. Great Job Folks!
The fab and mock up work on this rig is Second to none!!!!!! This will be the most over the top EV bug build ever!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😁😁😁😁😁😁✅
New front tires should arrive today. Kumho ecsta 195/55 is slightly taller/narrower than the 205/50 currently installed.
I’d say its a badass fun build. Thanks for the support Dan! I’m having a great time assembling this car.
Yep, I like it
215/55/r16 and 195/55/r16 tires on 7” and 6” wheels
I assume this will not be finished at KCW?
Probably will.. finish what I have.. but, if Dan chooses…. I would understand… maybe😎😎😎😎
I think it’s ready for battery mock up and what not.. wiring, paint and body…. My kinda stuff… 👍🏻
No new Tesla projects though. ✋✋✋👎🏻✋✋✋✋✋✋✋✋This only slipped in because Dan is a previous customer 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😎😎👍🏻😎😎
