Yeah 215/55/r16 are just right. 1/8″ from the spring plate and 1/8″ from the fender lip.

So Dan, how are you feeling about the logitudinal chassis tubes and aftermarket seats? Thats next on the list to facilitate battery mounting I think.

The picture is John’s race car for reference of the chassis tube along insides of the heater channels.

I had a heck of a time fitting bushings to the aftermarket puma beam as the tubes were tapered. I had to turn the bushings on the lathe to get them just right. 4” narrowed beam now.

New front tires should arrive today. Kumho ecsta 195/55 is slightly taller/narrower than the 205/50 currently installed.
