    Why the bigger tail lights?

Late models are the rage. I would trade my 61 for a 74 straight up right now.

68-69 tail lights are more rare than 62-67. Duh. 😉

We’ll dig some correct ones out of the parts trailer.

Between last night and Monday night I finished fitting removables.

Drivers door lower hinges was jacked up!46CDF57E-1272-4594-8139-DCD2C3C8D5B9

Found a correct, dry, super straight replacement door in the pile out back. Little bit of pushing required to get the gaps right. BCBCF27B-B3A0-49C7-8273-F7965135477E8CA03C97-5C25-4208-B4E9-2968CEF47142

Had to steal an outer set hinges from a junk door for the pass side. CF41B857-B96C-48B2-9920-2979565F12BE18998541-78A4-4EAC-8A69-F7C180596CDD

Both decklid hinges needed nuts welded to the backsides due to stripped threads in the hinge plate itself. 374C553F-D986-446D-9841-CEFBCE1AC8EB

Welded and dressed a few cracks around the bottom edge of the decklid.E5AC41C4-8C66-46EF-B4F4-10356E0CA15D

Made sure headlight fit the fenders. Pass side needed just a little love.F2EB2537-B5AE-498B-AA74-F345297EDAF273D6A2B7-D6A6-4D7D-8CF0-12A66156D759BF3E34A4-647B-4CCD-A4CB-15CC125FAB44

Rear apron had a couple good dents along the top edge.

Had to do a bit of stud pulling, slicing, hammer/dolly work, welding and grinding. DFED4A9C-A975-4DB2-81D4-046DFA00B8E0C22D6B8F-E907-40EF-8C43-55564DE849A3A1A1D0D2-ADBA-422A-8785-813CED25124D

Drivers rear fender rust repair 90% done. Just a little grinding on the back side and a couple small spots to weld. Also shaved the overrider hole and the late model tail light mount hole.

Getting there. Just three more fenders to look over for needed rust repairs and then fix the bottom of the pass door.C5B8B99F-EE16-407C-A645-599369770C40D4CCB21E-A46F-4C99-952E-85B192E6E5AD
