Plan is to have motor and drum to drum transaxle ready to go when I arrive. Everything else will be done at the compound 😎

Nico can confirm. Pan is nice

BEF9EB19-7E47-448E-BC4B-936CE0D9CAB8I’m thinking of getting some Wurth undercoat for this thing. Since I’ll be driving it year round… have you guys ever used it on a car? Wondering how much I need to order…

Pans are roughly 25sq ft. per side.

Are you going to do inside & out? Fender wells?

Franz and Wes both have used Wurth. They said it works good, bit over priced. Dries to a bit more on the soft/rubbery side.

We used Rockit on Mike’s Baja about a year and a half ago and it’s holding up very well and still looks great. The kit we used was $200. More then enough to do everything. https://www.semproducts.com/product/rock-it-xctm

We will build it if it comes.

I like the look of the wurth stuff. Just under side of the pan and fenders.

Started metal work on this last night. Decided to put the backend together first.

Pass side fender well section rough fit. E82F84D7-164F-411B-BBF4-CBBC9418D974

I finished all the parts yesterday, inside and out..  I am leaving the doors for you Cole.. 100%.  I want you to take them all apart, strip them, and blast em all on your lonesome.. And then I think you will be better educated for door reassembly…. 😎  Cause no one likes doing it..  and it needs to be right for them windows to roll up and down nicely!!!!

Coming along. Psyched on how the motors been going together. NOS cam and lifters and rod bearings, correct cam gear lash, dpr balanced the 1600 crank and flywheel and he machined the big end of some 40hp rods(all weighed within 1 gram!😎) to fit the crank. Going to put some single port 40hp heads on it to make it a torquey little 1500.

Also Hopefully put the transmission together in the next couple days! Slower than I’d like… but that’s how it goes. At least it’s coming together. Trying to figure out balancing after hours personal work and home time… it’ll all work itself out.
