Just finished power washing Zack’s new 66 bug, and its looking a lot better already! Plans for this aren’t really being made until Zack gets here tomorrow, but since I’m the first opinion I’m just gonna throw out the idea that this bug would be fuckin awesome as a Class 11 style baja.

I’m thinking uncut body and fenders, lifted and slightly raked backwards, big mud tires, a roof rack, and tons of light bars ferda boyz ????????????

That’s  a sweet bug. Totally complete. I bought it from a friend in Glenwood springs. He drove it to Colorado in the 80’s and it got tired and he parked it. 500$ and get it out yourself he said. Done deal. I sold to John because I have enough projects and I like my bugs a little older

I was thinking… Disc’s all around, 2″ beam, dropped psindles, detailed fuch’s..  NOT slammed… NOT wearing out axles and shit, Nidly lowered with the look….  Like Franz’s Red beetle… but not so low… 😉

Or… we can go opposite! and go up!

As much as I love the look of the blue baja Will posted up, I’ve always wanted Fuchs! I’d like to stick near stock height, just to keep an original look and nice handling!

I’m heading towards GJ today by 10:00am if all goes as planned. Gonna take it slow and steady and rock out to some music on the way!

Zack made it home safe and sound…  His “Herbie” beetle didn’t miss a beat driving over here…  Good to see my son again!!!

Pat helped Zack get it into the dirty shop last night…  He already started cleaning it out…

Needs some window rubber and a windshield.. and the headliner sucks nuts.. so… I think we will put a new headliner in it for him and some fresh rubber here and there..

Been a wild ride, but it got me here 😎

I’m glad to see this one happen! Thanks Zach and enjoy. I just love VW’s so I am good with either look, beside KCW don’t do UGLY!! This beetle will be blessed! 😀
