You should build another drag car. That ghia was sick as fuck.
As far as motor. I’d like to go turbo eventually. We all know through, is consistently thst wins events through.
in reply to: KCW randomness #61733Yes,I agree John. The car is a pan car still. 10 degree pie cut up front. Beam narrowed 9 inches to suck in the spindle mounts. Back was raised 3.5 inches and narrowed 3 inch on both sides. Tires are a 26x8x15. Stock rear fenders. The tucked look is the best.

Sundays are great for building race cars. Adding fluids to start dialing in for 2022.
Nice Scott. The more out there the better.
Hows about a motor pic of that rig?
Engine, yes. Size, atleast a 2 liter. Heads, got 2. Cam, not stock. Compression, can’t run pump gas. Exhaust, clean for now.
in reply to: KCW randomness #61663Right hand drive ,I see cool bug …vroom vroom
Yeah. I knew when I started this I wanted it to be fun, different, just plan bad ass but still perform. Moved the seat back nearly 6 inches so peddles were going to be an issue from the start. Just kinda through one day screw it. RHD it became.

in reply to: Badass photos round 2 #59665Car is getting close. This was just before the heater channels. I just got finished with the heater channels. Its getting prepared for interior paint. Once painted, everything well start to be fitted for good. The motor has already been ran. So no issues there. Has a 8 inch narrowed beam with adjustable shocks, rear narrowed 3 inched raised 3.5 inches. Shrouded 30mm torsion bars. Jamar rear drag brakes with QA1 adjustable shocks. Limit straps. Ron Lummus vertigate shifter. Hydronic pedal assembly with clutch management. And converted to right hand drive. Seat position was moved back 3 inches for safety. Roll cage is fully tig welded chromoly tubing. Trans is a Rancho pro comp plus. Should be a nice car. Getting ready for 2022. I hope to make the junction race next year.
