Early ones. Pre 48 or so?

What is the history on this rig? Why is everything blue? No black pans and motors back then?

You and I have a lot of the same likes, we’d both have fun at the other’s place. Don’t have a T yet, but I plan to one day.

Take a look at the cargo floor I had to adjust. Not KF’s fault. I had this laying around since the early days of KF, I thought it was a DD floor but when I got it out years later the left side is non cargo door, and the right side was set up for only 1 cargo door??

Any of you who don’t do this kind of work should be aware just how dirty, unhealthy and time consuming it is. Those of us who do know have burns, scars, pieces of metal stuck in our welding-burned eyes and probably lung damage from playing in a dirty shop. And KCW knows how to do it right! Probably takes John half the time it takes me to do these repairs with his skills and specialized shop. Better quality work too…

Take it to KCW! Quality doesn’t cost, it pays!

Burned in the B pillar for good 😀  worked the front drivers door which has been crushed from the rollover, welded and ground the driver’s roof hack, starting to look for things to do while waiting for green metal. Not Klassicfab’s fault, I didn’t order everything I need, and the lower front valance I had in stock and planned to use is for later bumpers. I’ll keep it for the 60 DDWT 😛

Passenger side rain gutter doesn’t look bad, looks like just a roof rust repair from front to back 🙄 and the gutter is straight with no road rash but it is rrrrusty!! pinholed all the way thru all 3 layers to the cargo door opening 👿 I think I’ll jump on that today. Notice the parcel tray over the motor area is all clean and solid now, and gull grey/mango green. Thanks to the half a 60 mango that became a playhouse many years ago. The rear corners for Bubba’s 59 came off that playhouse too.

    Things are looking up!

Christmas came early for this bus 🙂 Burning in new metal is sooo much easier than fixing old rusty shit! Think I’m high on funky green fumes!
