Damn I sure like that 47. What a piece of history.
Got damm that’s sweet. Never been welded on a split bug ?
this baby should be ready to go home tomorrow!
All work and no play makes JJ a dull boy🤣
Keeping a lid on it😎
Attitude is everything 🤔this baby should be ready to go home tomorrow!
what was it in for ?
transmission if I’m not mistaken.
Typical old stored resto… I’m glad KB had it sent here first.. Now when it gets home.. it will just be smiles and miles. This is one NICE 47… I can’t see where any work has been done to this car.. Looks like OG heater channels to me..
I’m SO glad it went to the compound first….it’s in great hands. I knew there would be some sorting to do. There always is. Especially when they don’t get driven. But happy to hear it looks clean. And it’s pretty crazy that this thing still has it’s original engine and transmission too. Now I just can’t wait to drive it.
New clutch and main seal installed. Surface flywheel too. I silver soldered the original oil cooler…..It took, but I don’t feel very confident about it. I’ll wait for the replacement I ordered to arrive.
Check out the bright silver aluminum case!
Kevin Leake.. Your engine is done and on it;s way back from painters….

Got a question Franz. OG 25 hp cases we’re aluminum?
Tim
Early ones. Pre 48 or so?
What is the history on this rig? Why is everything blue? No black pans and motors back then?
😀 Throwing this one into the parkway projects! Even though winter has escaped southwestern Colorado the last couple months it might come and I want my winter Rig ready! Gas heater quit working a couple years ago, I’ve got some electrical Gremlins and the original rebuilt Painters motor needs a quality tuneup! 😀
