    And yes! Quite a day for me- my maiden voyage was just 25 miles from Verve Vintage Motorworks in Orem, UT to Riverton UT to show at the Utah Classic.

    She’s gorgeous to look at and drives like a dream. Quite and smooth and comfortable. Not a thing missing or out of place and all functioning as though new. Did I just drive away from the dealership in 1962?

    Surreal!

    There was a little to finish up, like engine, brakes, fluids, and wiring, so it has stopped off in SLC on it’s way home!  2 weeks and counting and she’ll be at home in the garage!  Can NOT wait!!

    Door handles and ignition arriving soon.  I’ll send tracking info when I have it.

    The bumper trim -do we have the rubber inserts for it?

    Also, are you able to fab a upper back seat bracket to match the single you have and paint them both?  That would be a relief to roll it with the seat secure.

    Which brings up the middle seat hold downs.  I think I had lots of them… hopefully in your hands?

    And then, I think I saw hubcaps in the earlier pics.  Let me know if not so I can order some.

    So dang close to completely complete!!

    This makes me sooo happy!

    but not the pick it up and haul it away part… you’re not going to deny me the celebration with everyone at the shop are you?!

    And for the record, I’ve had this in a project  state since I bought it… 28 years ago!!
