for what it’s worth I’ve been checking this forum frequently for probably a decade or more, even before I had any aircooled VWs, I don’t have any friends where I used to live with aircooled cars and since moving again I still don’t know anyone but I’ve felt connected to your group in a small way just because of the forum and the great group of people that post up their projects and of course the KCW builds, I’ll always be a fan and look forward to checking this forum for my daily VW fix, big thank you for keeping your forum alive all these yearsJohn JonesModeratorJanuary 5, 2024 at 10:11 amPost count: 13645
It doesn’t cost a penny.. And I’d be lying if I said I don’t like having my very OWN platform.. 😎
It’s absolutely the best way to manage projects. I encourage people to share any of your projects.. Even if your moonlighting your ass off.. 😎

I check in daily as well…There is a sense of family here. I was only fortunate enough to have KCW work out some kinks on my car and I have felt like I was part of a family…I cant imagine actually having a car BUILT by KCW. I wish I was close enough to come help JJ out just to take some of the load off of him…shit I’d be happy to clean up or just hand him tools if it helped him keep going. Thank you JJ and Family for all the years of knowledge, laughs, WTF’s and entertainment. Plus if I was closer, I could probably talk JJ in to flying RC more!JWDIIParticipantJanuary 10, 2024 at 8:38 amPost count: 519

A LOT of people follow but never post. The old volksrods .com had a number of people on there who follow you, but I only ever saw a few of them post up on the KCW line but refer to you or one of your builds on the VR site frequently.RPSMParticipantJanuary 11, 2024 at 7:28 pmPost count: 1
Hello, I am one of those guys. Ive followed along with this forum for probably 12 years at least. I work 7 days a week wether its work work or working on cars and when Im done for the day this is the first site I stop by. I don’t do social media, watch movies or t.v. and It would be terrible to see this site go and be removed from my nightly routine. I actually meet John Briefly at KOH last year and seeing him from a distance working on 1131 was probably like most other people seeing a movie star or something. I did stop by to say hi and chatted with Gretchen for a couple minutes. I would have loved to hang out longer but Im kinda shy and they were busy trying to get the car back together. Anyways, just wanted to say hi and say I do appreciate the forum. I have a vw collection of my own and should probably stop just lurking and post up some of my rides and projects as I see john requesting from time to time. Thanks, JordanJohn JonesModeratorJanuary 12, 2024 at 5:39 amPost count: 13645
