Did a bunch of little stuff today..    I just took a first drive..  it was perfect 👍🏻

Shes sitting pretty level..  slightly raked..  I’m betting you want the whole s little higher!😎😎.   Fuckin looks awesome.  Makes me was to do a little video with it this low😎😎😎😎😎😍😍😍😍😍

First drive went great..  Thanks to Franz for the pan assembly.. Pat for painting it and the interior work!!   😎  Door and window assy also.  They roll up and down amazing!!!    Thanks to Painters Grinding for the engine and Trans!!!  It runs and shifts smooth and leaks zero so far!!!!  😎   Thanks to all and big OL THANKS to Tom for financing the whole thing!!!  😎

I’ve got it back on the rack to raise it up some…  Probably a whole outer spline!!!  I might do it tomorrow just to get it done…  And check another project off my list!!!  😎  😎 😎

I agree….BETTER THAN Factory fresh!!!  They were beautiful when they were new, but the attention to the details, having better brakes and more power, just make it over the top…….

Glad the first run went well….A whole bunch of us down here in FL were cheering you on in the Instagram videos!!!!

Thanks Tom!    She’s nice and smooth and quiet!!    Better than factory??  Don’t know about that..  but she’s beautiful!  Sea Blue outside is an amazing color with a fair amount of green in the blue😍😍😍😍.

I’ve got a short list of things to do next week.  I guess your not out of the Thursday club just yet🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫

Biggest thing on the list is raising it up a few inches..  imagine that, Franz set it to low🤫🤫🤫.   It looks sick, but umm..  your bound to smash that apron, hit the sump plate in some dip and rub the fenders in a hard turn..  👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻   And I need to adjust the pass side up a tiny bit more..  it was leaning, slightly 🤫

The 6v wiper motor needs a volt reducer on it..  They won’t brake correctly. Horn isn’t working, I bet the steering box isn’t getting ground.  Buttons and clips on the pop outs, and Dash trim..   and the never ending cleaning and polishing 😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎

I went up a whole outer spline on both sides.  I also raised the front as high as I could get it…  I’m not going to put her on the ground just yet,  One of the front tires must have a leak in it.. glad I found that now!!  😎 😎 😎 😎 😎 😎 😎 😎 😎 😎 😎 😎 😎 😎 😎 😎 😎 😎 😎 😎 😎

I’m gonna do some buffing on the sides..  You see a different angle on the lift, that honestly you never see in real life… 😎  But I see where I could make a few area’s better..  😎  😎 😎 😎

Sooo..   Revised short list..

Drill holes for license plate bracket.  Touch up the bare metal, Find a bracket!  Bolt it on!

Wipers, and a voltage drop..  so they turn off and are funny dumb slow and useless… 😎 I could do the adjustable drop, it varies the volatge between 12 and 6..  I like it..  ????  But..  If you have awesome timing.. you can usually get the wipers off…  That’s the problem really…  If you can be mindful of how long you run them…  You can hit them with 12V, but they are going so fast then, that they skip right past the “dead, or park” spot on the wafer thingy..8-)

Horn… 100% SURE it’s a ground..

Alignment!!!!!!

Dash trim… steering wheel done, horn ring, button etc.
