Body worked and primed bumpers last week.

Sanded them down this morning. All ready for epoxy sealer and first found of paint. 

 

We will build it if it comes.

Attempted to start paint on these bumpers yesterday…Swing and a miss straight to the crotch…Ended up sanding them down and epoxy sealing again…First round of paint tomorrow. 

We will build it if it comes.

How do you guys prep chrome for paint?  Blasting? Acid etch?  Or will epoxy stick to chrome just fine? I want to paint the chrome bumpers on my Vanagon project.

Sprayed L97G metallic gold on the back sides and down the front centers of bumpers earlier today. Colbalt Blue tomorrow to finish them.
