Upgrade my crawler steering servos, added more weight to the front. Love that stupid thing.

bought a rc blackjack boat the other day, haven’t made it to the water yet.

 

yesterday I got a plane. They pulled the almonds to the west of me, so there’s 80ac open field to fly. Got my first experience of flying. Wow, that’s fun!!! 4 take offs, 4 ok landings.

I ended up taking my rc out to the woods and had a blast screwing around building jumps!

Took my plane out again 2 times today…so far! Each flight for about 20 minutes??
Beginner mode I feel real good. Skipped step 2 and went to step 3. She comes alive!!! Did a couple back flips. Cruising at 50% throttle, maybe a hair lower. Had a few oh shit moments, but saved them all.

Those little plastic retainers on the front wheel suck. I still have them but barely. I supposed I’m coming down harder than designed?? Make some tiny metal clamps?

They make wheel collars in all sizes. Any good hobby shop should have them on hand.

I got the habu “jet” the other day.  Hauls ass, a lot different than the 1.2 “crop duster” we call it. Jet style you need to keep the throttle up. 25ish flights on the crop duster, 3 with the jet.

rc planes are tons of fun. I’ve been saying, rc cars you can hit all kinds of shit. Rc planes, you only can hit the ground. Odds seem better in my head??
