All right Mark, got this rig all up in the dirty shop starting to cut junk out.
Glad these guys had moved out!
I’ve never seen these before, AC parts I’m guessing? There beat!! Can I junk these?
We will build it if it comes.
Cool!! Yeah you can junk those 🤙🏼👊🏼
Going to be one happy square when pat is done with it👍🏼
type 3’s suck…
Been a wild ride, but it got me here 😎
Pulled off those heavy ass condensers.
Pass pan section fit and burned in.
I need to finish dissecting a few bits and get them back in place and make up a lower section for seat base that was rusted out.
The little things u find when cleaning out an old car always tell a little story about the previous owners.
Started on the drivers side last night. Not near as rusty as the pass side was. I was able to stop at the rear seat support instead of having to remove it.
All fit. Burning it in now.
We will build it if it comes.
Are you able to brush on some primer or paint so they don’t flash rust during shipping please Pat?
Nice Pat. My Square has the same issue. I think the rust in my floor goes under the battery section too
Completed the 2276cc engine install on Mike Young’s 66 convertible. It needed to have an external oil cooler(in addition to the type IV doghouse). With the stock heater system, oil cooler mounting is difficult. I used the smallest empi offering and mounted it to the torsion housing.
type 3’s suck…
Damn….Mary wanted me to send her square up there for a total re-due in 2021.
That 66 turned out nice! How does it drive with that engine?
Mikes Vert is gonna rip…cool car, cant wait to see it around
Can’t wait to see Franz RIP down Kimball in her!!!!! 😎
Been a wild ride, but it got me here 😎
More late night T3 love last night.
Cleaned up all the little bits in the blast booth first thing.
Patched or welded up the holes from the AC condensers.
Fabed up and burned in a new lower section for the passenger side seat support section.
Lower section of the back side support brace needed attention as well.
Seat support section tacked back in place.
Last couple metal work items in this area to take care of are finish welding the seat support in and fit and burn in the strap catch for the battery mount.
We will build it if it comes.
