Pats been kickign ass on this rig!!!!    The customer is basically having Pat do all the hard crappy prep work for a an easy paint job…. 😎   Now some lucky soul is gonna get an easy paint job…. 😎 😎  oh well…  Funny thing…. If the customer left it and said go ahead and paint it for me… we’d have it done inside of two weeks… Now I bet it doesn’t get painted for months or more!!!  Cause I am TOO expensive for this particular customer…. 😎 😎

Ball joints and bushings installed on the front end of beetle1. No more shimmies. Drives great. I did an alignment too.

I could tell the shift rod bushing was out by a rattle and loose gears selection on the test drive. I installed a new one and now it’s ready to go home.

Finished engine assy and ran break in on Rina’s motor on Friday. 

Chased a electrical problem for a few. Distributor drive was not engaging enough casing erratic running.

Turned down the housing a bit. Good to go. 

New trans mounts while the engine was out. 

Fresh tar board. 

Just about done with install.

We will build it if it comes.

Distributor gear not engaging….now that’s one that I don’t think I would’ve thought of…..wow

^^^ We’ve only found it on the after market distributors a handful of times.

Finished Rina’s ‘74 yesterday morning. Runs and drives great. 

Rina’s is also the original owner of the car. 

We will build it if it comes.
