Tuned-up Ragdaddy Ron’s 62  ragtop today. Found some other issues, broken transaxle mount being probably the biggest issue.

Then I started on Mike’s 70 westy. It has a bunch of janky wiring, busted alternator and dual batteries with an isolator. I’m going to install a new alternator, strap the batteries down, and redo a bunch or engine bay wiring. Probably needs and tune-up and/or carburetor rebuild judging by the way it runs.

Rag Daddy Ron!!!!!   I hope he gets an extra second in his day to see this post and see his car is done.. He is a very very very very very very busy guy… He says he never gets a chance to look at the site… 😎

I have this other customer who says he is too busy to email me or post too… I dunno if I can believe that… If you have time to drink a cup of coffee, a redbull, eat a burrito, take a shit or lie down in bed…. You can squeeze in time to check the internet.

    If your truly interested. 😎

Been a wild ride, but it got me here 😎

Re-did a bunch of wiring on Mike’s baywindow today. Looks and feels better. Easier to follow. It was a mess. Battery isolator wiring and test tomorrow.

Super beetles are my favorite.  🙂

This one had a transaxle that was leaking in several places. I took it all apart to throw a gasket kit in…but found a cracked pinion bearing. At that point I had to call the customer to tell him that the best option was to send it out for a proper rebuild. We spent $1000 more than estimated because of that. So it’s been sitting around for a minute waiting for payment.
That came through last week, so I’m sending it home today.
