I love doing preservation work. It doesn’t have to perfect down to the last detail and it’s very gratifying to save something for a grateful customer.

Pretty disappointing about the gun, especially after all the prep work.  Bodywork will either teach you patience or teach you that you don’t want to do it again.

The guy with the deluxe bumper gave me a rear for my Panel project.

This followed me home today.  64 Red Dale.  Apparently these were made to order for in Longmont.  98A73B59-45ED-4C05-961F-E0A6D40AF54E

That’s awesome, Audrey!  I’d love to see it. I know almost nothing about these.  The inside reminds me of a press bumper Westy.  It should be fun!

Something must be in the air.  I’ve been running into so many deals and freebies in the last week!  Picked up the trailer for $200. We went to a Goodwill outlet and I found a vintage Husqvarna sewing machine and a bolt of fabric for about $20.

I’ve been wanting a stout sewing machine for a long time.

I told a buddy that I was looking for a propane tank for the trailer and he found one the next day. I’ve been looking for a pair of skis for Kelly and found a killer pair for free near my place.   I’ve also been looking for a Cyclocross/Gravel bike kind of thing and found a killer Schwinn at the ARC for $35!  When it rains, it pours.

Laid down some carpet, rebuilt the skylight, replaced some glass, made some steel patches to cover the rotten ceiling wood and have been found a lot of cleaning, oiling and polishing.  I love these low budget, orphan projects.

Decided to swing some hammers at one of the Panel doors.  This one took some buckshot at some point.
