yeah… My brain is working over here too…. Scale Buggy Racing sounds fun….. I got into RC around 84 or 85.. The rc-10 had just came out when I got into it… I raced a Frog!!! I soon got an RC-10 and have been a LOSI hattin, Associated Die Hard racing MOFO ever since then!!! I have always enjoyed RC cars.. I got out of them so I could focus on my business more… I did it, it worked… Since then… The local race track has closed… Damnit.. that was awesome in the winters when it was cold… it was indoor!!!!!! well… I really didn’t think I would ever get back into it.. it’s so not like it was back in the day when we ran crystals, 1200 mah cells and brushed motors… But it’s been on my brain all day today…..

I still have my Red Cat rock crawler here. Built some piles of rock and junk behind my garage, but the dog drives me crazy barking at it when I play. Going fast sounds fun. In the Air Force over in Korea, we did indoor carpet racing with on road cars. Mega fun. I had a Tamiya Porsche 956 FWD. Had to make some special slicks for it, as the dirt threads had too much grip and would roll in tight corners. Once the slicks were on it. I could power drift it through the corners and keep a super tight line. The two wheelers were faster, but with my tight line I could usually beat them in lap count in a six minute heat.

I created a RC corner as to not clog up the shop randomness also made a candian corner… but couldn’t figure out how to move JB’s kombi thread over there???

Did you buy back in after round one or just focus on your other two rides? I laughed when guy broke/slept on the line against your purple car and got pissed when he seen it gone then almost caught it at the lights. Your orange car is still one of my favorite U.S.E cars. Been going to the farm since the 90’s and the IVWA. Yes Pat was haulin ass that car sounds so dang good. My son woke up on the way home telling me he still was seeing and hearing them fast Volkswagens! I told him that was good son, go back to sleep and enjoy it man!
How did you end up doing? I had to get my son home for school so started my three hour ride home about 6:30pm? I also checked on the VW oasis place you were talking about. They are in Travelers Rest area bout 30 mile north of me. I have heard of them but never been up there. Trying to see if I can make it down to Orangeburg in November now. Me and my dad talked about Drag nights for years and still have never made it. Always here great things about it but stay real busy that time of year.
