    Hey Franz Sorry Im New I just bought a 69 c10, But I do own a 66 bug also, I saw your slammed red bug, what did you use to make your car pop like that, my c10 is dull and would like to do that to it. Oh by the way I’m a Pueblo CO guy, long time lurker. Thanks

    Race glaze works well to shine up old paint. If the paint is really chalky/old/rough, use ultra-fine steel wool to clean it first.

    A wool buffer and rubbing compound works nice too.

    1 owner.. no rust short bed…  Dude. SCORE!!!!!!!  Nice..   Don’t change a thing!!!! Buff it up… clean it up.. make it function like stock…. and put it back in the garage!!!!  Thats a good size savings account right there!!!!! 😉  😉  😉

    I’m probably going to buff it out clean it up, change fluids, hoses etc… get it road worthy, maybe a slight lower job like a 4/2 kit, it is a factory 4 speed Inline six, drum brake on all fours, but I did drive it home. It was hiding in a garage about a mile away from me. I sold my 60 single cab a few years ago and have kicked myself ever since so may be I can make a trade for another one.
