Here I am at 21 in 1996 with my mom. You can see my dads black 71 beetle behind us. My yellow 73 is in the garage. I had a ball joint beak in the front end while I was doing about 55 mph. luckily for me the car just swapped lanes (no oncoming traffic),and the tire stayed standing up due to it being lowered so much. I dipped into a gas station parking lot and when I stopped the tire and hub folded under the car when I roll backwards slightly down hill. It could have been a lot worse for me and my wife to be that day.
My unc helped me buy the geo new for a dependable daily. Had alot of fun in that thing. Never lowered it , but did put a hard top on it. I installed two RF power 12’s running on 2 power 1100 A2’s in 7 cubit feet tuned to 27 hz. Did a certified 150.1 db on the dash. Good times. I look a bit different these days!

I think we need a little throw back Thursday!!!! This is an awesome pic of John (age 21) and his Tech Sergeant(and good friend) in the Air Force!!!! John should tell you the story behind his red bug… The Heartbeat of Germany… Awesome pic
BTW… John rarely has his shirt off, but underneath that RC racing shirt he’s cut/rippedthat guy set me straight in life.. I need to go see him again!

I can relate. There’s half a dozen NCO’s I owe many thanks to for keeping me in line.

But also think… if my time is limited…. to do work myself, I better get the fuck to it…!!!!!

unlikely. I got the MRI cause I feel like I’m declining again.😔😔😔😔. I can tell ya my day to day activities are getting harder and harder.. standing and walking suck..👎🏻
