Here’s a few highlights from our time on the track!!

Dennis called us “mud mixers” on Sunday cause they SOAKED the track before us, and had us mix it all up for the big Pro 2 and Pro 4 Race that was after us 😅

oh- you know what hasn’t been exclusively mentioned on here yet?? For Sunday’s race, Blake Wilkey specifically asked if Riley wanted to be his co-driver!! Pretty fucking awesome!!! So Riley was in the Slug Shark!! 🤙🏼🦈🦈

Nice recap!  Sounds like a helluva time!  The race video is great.  The guy that rolled the bug….looks like he had it saved, then tried to turn and get back to racing too quickly?

Hell yeah I’m still smiling! What an experience! Sitting in a race car is cool in itself but Blake’s car is COMPETITIVE. We got the hole shot and were leading until we blew a right rear. Even when that happened Blake was still runnin that car as hard as possible. We didn’t fall back quickly either. We fell back through the field slowly. Even when that happened I was still having an awesome time! It’s still not real to me that I had that opportunity to ride in that car. Like, I didn’t actually know I was gonna be sitting in the passenger seat until about 3 hrs before the race. I can’t even begin to express how happy and appreciative I was/am to have that opportunity.

Good deal for you Riley !  That is just the kind of thing that can get racing in your blood ………….and it never really goes away.  I sold my last race car about 5 or 6 years ago but constantly think about building another.

let me know if you guys need anything locally.   Crandon is 2-1/2 hours from home.    Plus, if you are roadtripping, you will pass within a couple miles of my place in Madison.    I could pre-load a trailer for you guys to hook onto if you need.   Jacks, welder, generator, coolers, etc……let me know.    Good luck this year.      You guys could stay at my cottage if you wanted (In Madison) on your way through if you needed a place to stay on the way.    Give it some thought and let me know………..if you are all set, no biggy.     Or some of y0u could fly to madison and just grab my car and trailer from there.
