What a weekend!  👍🏻👍🏻😎👍🏻

Practice…….. car rolled right in front of me, landed on my right front fender, otherwise fine.

Friday night race… Hood flew up almost immediately!!!!!!🙃🙄😥 I was doing ok when on the last lap I buttholed a car was that had a flat, but was still racing, lost control and hit the tire in front of the K rail oppps🙄

Sunday.  Qualified in the middle of the pack. Got a decent start…  2nd lap I am behind the spotters tower behind Blake…  and I fucking go in just a little too tight, caught my tire and spun around!!  Had to sit and watch about 5-6 cars go around me before I could move and go..  down to 11th…  I drove hard and ended up getting 7th !👍🏻

top 10 finish!!!  I’m super happy with that!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😎😎🤩🤩

1131 oldest car, only swing axle only link pin too..  only one towed by a bus🤩🤩🤩🤩. 7th place outta 28.  Best finisher in camp A🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫😎😎

Hell yeah! All those things listed are so badass, congrats on the 7th place! Lucky number 7!! Definitely the highlight of the races for me was watching you driving with the hood open still passing people! So awesome

I wasn’t able to make it… my transaxle must have had other plans 😔.   When was about 1/3 of the way there, I stopped for gas and found the transaxle was covered in gear oil.  It wasn’t the normal leak from the axle tubes, but a significant amount of fluid coming from the nosecone.  It was bad enough that the heater boxes was starting to get saturated.  So… I made the executive decision to turn around and head back home

(gear oil was dripping from the cradle)

I have the engine and transaxle out now.  Maybe that’ll be a topic for a different thread (I don’t want to take away from the awesomeness of this one)

Must have been the heat!  My nose cone pucked badd the first day, less the second, very little after that provided I kept it under 60mph..  or it would be dripping like paint on the rockers..  ohh well, next time..👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻  You fucking tried, and that’s worth a lot!!!!!!!!!!
