We always talking about that at shop nights, we wanna have a “meet in the middle camp out” it’s been too long since we seen all our kcw friends, and we are hoping rusty drives his hi roof???
I bet there is a hot spring somewhere in the middle. I know JJ would be there

Fucking EH right I would be there… 😎 😎
Been a wild ride, but it got me here 😎
Ya boys! This has to happen summer 2020
😘
We will build it if it comes.
I definitely need to! in the spring! Likewise for you! You should come out this way too. Or meet in the middle to camp!
I’ll meet you in the middle…wherever that is… miss ya buddy
the 51 started leaking oil super bad… So I dropped the oil to mitigate the problem until I figured out what to do. But when I pulled the oil it was almost completely gas….. So I decided to pull the motor and send it up with me to Washington for rebuild. We have been turning the fuel off in the BD’s when they are not being driven. So my guess is that there is a hole in the fuel pump diaphragm. But whatever it is, I am worried that we washed the cylinders with how much gas was in the oil. So I think I will pull it apart just to be safe. This little 25hp will be back and happy as the little sewing machine it is in no time.
I told KB that we need to get rid of all the non BD buses because of how easy it is to pull the motors out of the BD’s! haha 😂 🤣 😉 took about 8 min. Psyched
wow!
Nice Cole. What a cool spot to work. Hope you get it all fixed up
Tap shoulda stopped the fuel from getting to the pump shouldn’t it?
If it wasn’t driven would it still wash the cylinders or just flow on thru?
Nice lineup for sure!!
Gas tank empty? Equals not shutoff/ bad fuel petcock. Also something else down the line if it’s just dumping into the case.
We will build it if it comes.
Leaky float or bad needle and seat? I wouldn’t be too concerned with tearing it down. Many engine builders insist on not lubing the cylinders during assembly.
That’s an beautiful collection of Buses and an amazing garage. First class!
Petcock seemed to be working because no fuel came out when I pulled the rubber line off of the hard line when pulling the motor. So that’s why I think it must be leaking into the case while it is running…. Which pointed me to the fuel pump. But who knows… I will start at the fuel pump and follow the trail. I bet worst case I have to just re ring it and maybe hone the cylinders. Will know more when it gets up here.
KB’s warehouse is pretty cool for looking at cars. But hard to work in! haha He has less tools than what I carry with me in my bus…. He just needs to get a lift and a toolbox full of tools and it will be a great place to get some work done. Im sure it will happen eventually, just a slow process getting moved into a new building

We gotta work on that in 2020…. 😎
