eating clutch cables??  weird…  and if there is enough friction in that area to cut through a clutch cable, that plastic sleeve isn’t gonna stand a chance…too long of bowden causing too much bow?

I had a good kink in the bowden tube right at the steel tube junction, that and a stage II pressure plate. Mostly bowden tube damage I’m thinking. anyway, all new parts, and I took the transmission bracket for the bowden tube off this time. Always been kind of lazy with that. Probably how I kinked it. 🙁

I have some chain and cable lube I got from Napa to lube up the clutch tube. It first foams, then reverts to liquid. I spray it into the tube, push the cable about 12″, then spray again, repeat until cable comes out the back end. Comes out wetter than your member after a turn in the sheets.:)

Hearts doing good, a little short of breath at weird times. Doc says it’s the meds, and we’re tinkering around with those trying to improve my condition.

Lot’s of flying and building.

Yea it sold in two days of posting the add. Buyer drove down from Albuquerque yesterday and struck a deal.

He will be checking KCW out as a possible home for what he wants to do with it.

I have an eye on a baja project that is well along, but first I need a more modern truck or van.

First order of business is a nice truck for daily status. Then yes, I’m looking at a Baja at the moment. Complete mechanically, but needs a lot of cosmetics.
