I’m getting ready for Buses By the Bridge this weekend, finishing the last things on this monster bus project.
I spent last night fabricating/fitting a custom jump seat. Ready to paint the frame now, then Doug should be here later to help me cover the wood base.BBWBParticipantJanuary 13, 2019 at 12:16 pmPost count: 903

Forgot to post these from The Weekend. Franz took us mountain biking! So fun. He rips on a bike. Cool to cruise in his bus too! He even got close with a vanagon. You know what they say… keep your friends close and your enemies closer hahahFranzKeymasterApril 10, 2019 at 10:46 amPost count: 3903mtnbusParticipantApril 10, 2019 at 11:47 amPost count: 1288

Looks like a fun bike ride. This weekend won’t work for camping Franz, family is just getting over the crud and it’ll be chilly for them.ColeBModeratorApril 28, 2019 at 7:22 pmPost count: 1978
“Emilee’s Mobile Welding and Split Bus Recovery Service”
Franz had the adjusters slip/strip on his beam. So we went back later that day with a welder supplied by Sonny and Franz welded that thing up good! The jack we brought wasn’t tall enough so we scavenged some wood and rocks to get it high enough. Super fun little recovery mission.
Super professional. Super clean. Super good welds. Super prepared. As you can tell by the socks used for welding gloves haha! Super fun weekendemileeParticipantApril 28, 2019 at 7:34 pmPost count: 69

Haha, you guys are funny.
That sucked, but was not a big deal, I had a good day, and was lucky to have so much help getting fixed.
Bay windows are working buses for sure. Betty Blue has a great cargo area.RustabusParticipantApril 29, 2019 at 7:01 amPost count: 2066

Franz handled it… It’s just part of using it… getting things all dialed in… Mechanical things break….ColeBModeratorApril 29, 2019 at 7:24 amPost count: 1978
Franz always handles it! He had that thing buttoned up and back on the road in no time. And then left me in the dust when he rallied out of there. I’m sure he was just testing his welds hahaJasonSParticipantMay 1, 2019 at 11:58 amPost count: 161
Franz killed it! Made it look so easy, i was glad I joined on that recovery. Was a blast and those are the fun times and the ones you remember the most. Shit breaking and getting stuck = fun don’t ask me why but it is
