Bus is looking awesome!!!!   Will has learned a lot about VW’s, a lot about technique, a lot about problem solving, a lot about time management, even though he still sucks at that…. 😎  He’s gotten better at painting, and welding, and using body filler, and fixing broke shit, and taking out rusted broken bolts…. and this and that and all kinds of shit….   I hope, he has a learned a thing or two from all of us… I hope we have helped add to a more productive, better problem solver than he was before, and better prepared for life….   I think every kid could use a KCW boot camp experience..  But I don’t think I could be the instructor… 😎

Look at the engine right there…. Nice.. Thats about $12.5K worth the parts and time and materials right there… 😎  An investment if you ask me.. 😎  It will be a pleasure to open that decklid…. and show it off….  😎  “Is that a Porsche engine?” 😎 😎

Pat has been sanding bottom sides all morning…  Shit is looking great!!!! There was a wrinkle in one wheel well, that when Pat hammered it out, it oil canned…. He took the time to shrink that shit down nice… Look at all them nice OG spot welds in those wheel wells!!!!

 

Trout Blue is going to look amazing…  I was trying to get a good picture of it.. but you get it…

Got my paper work done!!! Time to get on this… 😎

Thinking I will block the dash out… might prime it again…. Dash needs to be nice as it can be… it’s what the Driver stares at all the time… 😎

I got all the jambs trunk engine bay and dash in 2k primer… Going to look great!!! 😎   Time to start sanding for paint on the bottom side, inside the fender wheels above tranny, below gas tank etc…..   That is about the shittiest paint session to do, especially in base/ clear….. 8-(  That shit is all shooting back in my face my eye’s are burning like poison has been put in em!!!
