Looks like about $7K worth the green metal… plus shipping… from Columbia.. 😎
a few pictures from like monday…. If I take a pic, I post it…. 😎
Been a wild ride, but it got me here 😎
this one is also at a great point… to either take a break till metal gets here… Or.. we could just push it in the abrasive cleaning booth and continue making it naked…. 😎
Been a wild ride, but it got me here 😎
Knocked out a couple of small patches yesterday morning, both in the rear of the cab.
Weird spot to rust from the outside. While Cole was here he said their DC stacks leaves along the back of the cab since they put their hoops & canvas on.
We will build it if it comes.
Build up has already begun! You guys are a machine. Killing it!
The bus came with a funky, custom, low profile canvas cover. It could have trapped leaves for sure. It also had a fabric sound deadening in the cabin that looked like it trapped a bit of condensation.
Keep up the amazing work and updates!
You seamed Gates showed up yesterday!!! Gerson is all over it!!!! 😎 😎

Seriously?!? Does he predict when people are going to need them, and just have them show up? Amazing!
I got an email yesterday… I think your metal already shipped out…. 😎 So I better get Chris to finish cleaning up your carcass.. 😎
Been a wild ride, but it got me here 😎
The rest of the green metal is here…. 😎 WOW… he’s fast!!! 😎
Chris started blasting yesterday…. and will comtinue today!!!!! till it is NAKED!!!!
Were gonna lay out the metal and make sure we have everything.. 😎 Boy.. this is gonna go quick! 😎 and no gates to work!!!!! 😎
Been a wild ride, but it got me here 😎
Thanks to Gerson for rocking the delivery time on this metal!
Amazing delivery timing!
<p style=”text-align: left;”>It’s been a couple weeks and I’m still trying to get around to sending my engine to GJ. I’m in LBC this week, but I’ll get it sorted when I’m back in Texas next week.</p>
With the speed you all are moving, I’m going to have to get off my ass and send the rest of the labeled parts from my disassembly soon. Thanks for the updates!
Just sorted through all of your funky green metal. Missing a ew pieces yet, but we have plenty to get started.
We will build it if it comes.
A nice solid DC is not far away now. What can GREEN do for you? You all make this look easy.
Awesome! I always love the photos of the funky green laid out and ready for install.
Odd question but can you measure the forward most part of the bed floor you ordered from Gerson. I am wanting to know how long it is from the cab wall towards the back. I am hoping those will work for my little turd project. You can see they pop riveted flimsy steel to connect the front and rear body panels.
Sorry about hijacking your thread. Back to a real truck…….
