I keep trying to convince Jason that if I see that bus in a magazine I’d prefer to see it covered in mud and dents, he calmly reminds me that I am not the kind of person that buys the magazines that feature buses. Honestly he’s right but it’d still be cooler to have pictures of it roughed up and kicking dirt.

Triple RGB keeps the wheels from hopping? If so that’s going to be huge for grip.

Ha, that’s why I put the question mark after Tony but it would be cool to see him out there. I’m thinking this could be a good test run, devils racetrack for Oktoberfest would be the next one I’d like to hit with a group of buses. At least up to the razor back for lunch and some beers and then back down.

My wife thinks it’s time I drop the crazy recluse act and be more friendly so I guess I’ll give it a shot 😂

Jason, Cole, Derek myself and likely a few more. I’m in the middle of converting my wife’s westy vanagon into a syncro and then I’m probably dropping the 2.1 waterboxer out of the split and popping a 1.8L Jetta engine in there but it should all be wrapped up by mid/late February and looking forward to the camp.

Pretty sure Reeves is planning on heading up in his flipseat.

I wanted to run air cooled in the split, but damn those engines are pricey these days and building one is something I never bothered to learn. Back when you could buy an engine for a grand it was easier to just buy one and throw it in, oh well. I guess the option is always on the table.

I think there are more people going but am not really in the loop up here. Jason probably knows more accurately who is planning on going.

Congrats on retirement, can’t wait to join that club.
